I have been collecting Mego action figures and adventure sets (doesn't that sound so much better than dolls and playsets?) for about 15 years. As my family will tell you, it has become an obsession, although a fun and harmless one. I recently delved into the Cipsa line, starting with the Planet of the Apes figures. This line has long been the pride of my Mego collection, so it was natural to start out the Cipsa line with it. I have been a Planet of the Apes fan since childhood. No other movies and television shows can hold the place in my heart that the Apes do, although some come close.
